Don’t Give Up
To find words for this post is difficult. I’m going to be honest. If you weren’t at this workshop, it might be odd to follow. I’ll do my best. It’s a personal video, for me and for my new friends who came to the workshop. Pictures and words which are memorable to me.
I guess this post is more for me, but I do want to share.
I attended a workshop in early January 2013, called the Don’t give up project.
What is Don’t give up? It’s a two day workshop for photographers, artists, dreamers. Put together by the wonderful photographers ‘We are the parsons’ and hosted by Jonas Peterson.
Your next question is going to be… What does don’t give up mean?
Well, it means something different for everyone, there are many answers. What does it mean to you?
Lost you already? Perhaps it is best that I direct you to the video above.
I will say that you should buy yourself a copy of Don Millers book, if you have not already; A million miles in a thousand years. Living a great story is something that will be forever in the back of my mind.
It is appropriate to thank a few people.
Ashley and Jeremy Parsons.
Jonas and Jackie Peterson (and Jackie’s mum).
And the great people who came from all over planet earth.
Thank you. It’s an honour to call you friends. I look forward to seeing many of you again.
Especially you, Parsons.
The track in this video is ‘Raconte-Moi Une Histoire’ from the amazing album, Hurry up We’re Dreaming, by M83. If you enjoyed this, you’ll love the album. Get yours at:
