Ashley & Mark // Byron Bay Hinterland

November 24, 2013  |  Featured, video, wedding

After meeting up with Ashley and Mark for some local beers, I was quite excited to be asked to shoot their wedding and put their names in the calendar. The venue is Lyndoch on the Lake in the Byron Bay hinterland. This area is just gorgeous. The guy who owns the property built it with stone, doing runs with the trailer every weekend in his twenties over two years… crazy. The buildings and architecture are really special. And the tress, oh the trees are just ridiculous, honestly, they are so good, they way the light filters through them. Crazy. And then there is the lovely Ashley & Mark, their friends and family. Such wonderful friendly kind people, all of them. I know you shouldn’t have favourites, but Ashley and Mark’s wedding at the moment is something I will not forget any time soon, I’d happily just copy and paste the whole thing for my own. If your wondering what is being passed around the ceremony, they did a ring warming, google it, it was great. Enough words, press play 🙂

Music //
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros
Clouds for Kings

These are three songs I really love. If you dig their music like I do, go see these artists and buy their music, they are amazing. I have been lucky enough to see Edward Sharpe live and work with Clouds for Kings on a music video.
