It has been awhile between updates, hope you enjoy a selection of pictures from a recent trip to New Zealand’s South Island.
A lovely wedding set just back from the beach on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Had lots of fun with the bridal party on this one!
This place is near where i grew up. I spent many hours as a kid, with camera and tripod in hand, exploring the wilds. I made a visit back recently and thought I should share, hope you enjoy.
Spent a few days out near Stanthorpe and Girraween National Park in QLD. Temps were well below zero at night, thankfully my gear worked perfectly, often my hands did not fair too well though! Star-trails did not work as i planned with the lens quickly fogging up, or the entire camera freezing over with ice.
Snapped up a few frames at this abandoned mental asylum, I say a few frames as security soon found us after arriving!
Springbrook National Park – Gold Coast Hinterland. Above is a multi image composite (stitched panoramic) of this iconic waterfall in South East Queensland.
Cue Alarm 4.30am… out of bed by 4:40am… on location around 5:20am.
Had some success this morning shooting at Shorncliffe Pier. Morning turned out really well considering it was a dark cloud ridden morning with some added rain, i made the most of the gloomy conditions. Take a look below!
Spent five days at a lovely place know as Brooloo Park. Brooloo is in the Mary Valley, the Traverston Dam was proposed to come nearby to where we were staying. First try at a star trail as above. Plus lots of other farm / outback themed photos in here.
This was fun. Four photographers exploring a rail yard, rust all around you. Will have to do another group trip soon! A friend of mine spotted a tiny little cactus growing out of a carriage!
Well its not often it pours down rain at various times during the shoot. However I persevered and some great results were had. Another fun shoot for C3 Church Young Adults. Not much rain in these photos, the rain was filmed towards the end of the shoot and used for an event video.
